JJ Torres developed an interest in cinema and the visual arts since he was a child. During his university years, this interest led him to be part of the youth jury for three editions of Donostia Zinemaldi and to work with director Enrique Urbizu in the development of the feature film Silver or Lead and the remake of There will be no peace for the wicked.

In 2013 he began working as a director and editor for advertising projects in Madrid and Barcelona. In parallel to making pieces for Inditex, BBVA or Gatorade, he has directed video clips and fashion films with extensive experience at international festivals. Winner of the New Talent award from Mexico Fashion Film Festival (2016) and Madrid Fashion Film Festival, his career has allowed him to implement a cinematographic style and a genuine atmosphere to his projects.

He has recently braided a close collaboration with Amazon Prime Video, shooting material for series with talents like Dani Rovira, Belén Rueda, Yon González, Cristiano Ronaldo or Dulceida.

With projects in Europe and North America, JJ has collaborated with agencies such as McCann, DDB, Zapping or Tango and clients such as Adidas, PayPal, Zara, Lacoste or Stage.
