DANIEL LoPEZ
Daniel Lopez is the director of several short films, including “Malas Hierbas” and “La Chaqueta del Botón”, both of which have had international repercussions. “Malas Hierbas” is a black comedy with the brilliant Luis Zahera that mixes golf, gardening, horns and crimes. A very funny short that grabs you from the first moment, according to “No Rock Solo”.
He applies his experience in the seventh art to all kinds of audiovisual works and his interest in composition and photography means that the pieces he makes always have a very defined style. Many say that he has true talent and a unique touch in each work he makes. Tornero has known how to laugh at social conventions, a round of applause for him, commented “Fiebre de Cabina”.
With each work he undertakes a search to find the most effective way to guide the viewer’s gaze through the image and thus obtain a suggestive result. We highlight his work on the campaign for “La Caixa: A day in the life of…” where, through small reports, he reinvents the way of advertising and delves into the intimacy of the protagonists. Daniel López has also worked as a director on other campaigns such as the one carried out with Nivea and Real Madrid. An advertisement that pays tribute to one of the legends of football, now retired, who meets the new generations.
We cannot deny that it is a pleasure to work with him and that his vision of the world is always inspiring.
